President, Rotary Club of Ankara International, 2026–27
It is with great pride that I welcome you to our 2026–27 term. Guided by Rotary International's message of Create Lasting Impact, our goal is simple: to build a club that creates stronger bonds, becomes more visible, and produces real, lasting value for the communities we serve.
That work is not the president's, nor the board's. It is the sum of small, regular contributions from every member — and from everyone in Ankara who chooses to stand with us.
Areas of focus
Seven causes. One standard of care.
Rotary concentrates its service on seven areas where members can have the greatest effect. Our club's projects are chosen to sit squarely inside them.
Peacebuilding and conflict prevention
Training leaders to prevent and mediate conflict, and supporting those displaced by it.
Disease prevention and treatment
Improving access to care and health education, and finishing the fight against polio.
Water, sanitation and hygiene
Clean water, sanitation and hygiene education as a foundation for everything else.
Maternal and child health
Reducing preventable deaths among mothers and children under five.
Basic education and literacy
Supporting learners and teachers so that literacy is never the limiting factor.
Community economic development
Creating opportunity and dignified work in underserved communities.
Environment
Protecting and restoring the natural systems that communities depend on.

Hatıradan Umuda
From Memory to Hope
A year-long joint project with the Ankara International Rotaract Club: furniture and household goods, collected from donors across Ankara and delivered directly to families who need them in Mamak.
- Launched on 5 July 2026 — the first action of the new term
- 14 pieces of furniture and household items collected from 2 donors
- Delivered to 5 families in municipal housing in Mamak, Ankara
Rotary International 2026–27
